Coronavirus

As of 17 May 2021 the national Covid restrictions have been eased again on outdoor groups and activities and so the club will now operate under the following guidelines:

  • Singles  and doubles croquet and tennis  is available
  • Adult coaching is available
  • Junior coaching is available
  • Mix-ins are available
  • Outdoor activities are still restricted by the rule of 30
  • The clubhouse will remain closed
  • All tennis courts must be pre-booked through Clubspark
  • All croquet lawns must be pre-booked through CroquetBooking

A copy of our policy document is available here which sets out the regulations that the club has adopted in order to facilitate the continuation of play. We ask that you read this document carefully and if, for any reason, you feel that you will be unable to adhere to any of these regulations, we would respectfully ask that you do not attend the club at this time.

Time on tennis courts can be booked through the ClubSpark online booking system and through the Clubspark Booker app. Booking is only available to paid up club members who are registered with Clubspark. Time on  croquet lawns must be booked through CroquetBooking.com and all active croquet players should have received login details for this.  Croquet players may also make a booking by contacting Pam Sim or Roy Tillcock. Please do not turn up and expect to play without having made a booking.

Taking into account the safety and wellbeing of all our members, we will reserve the right to ask members who are found to be in breach of the terms of play to leave the grounds.

To help meet with track and tracing requirements the  pay-and-play facility for non-members remains suspended until further notice. However members may invite guests to play with members in accordance with the restrictions in place, subject to a charge of £6.00 (adults) and £3.00 (juniors) per visit for maximum of 4 visits or a weekly membership of £42.00 (adults) and £25.00 (juniors). Members are responsible for booking courts and collecting the relevant guest fees, which should be passed to the membership secretary with a list of guests.

We hope to see as many members as possible out enjoying time on the courts and lawns in the coming weeks and hopefully we will return to normal play in the not too distant future.
